Mike Hunsberger, ChFC®, CFP®, MQFP®, is the founder and owner of Next Mission Financial Planning. Mike spent 25 years in the Air Force in the cyber and communications career field. He commanded at the detachment, squadron, and group levels.

Mike developed a passion for financial planning after receiving some bad advice as a newly commissioned officer. During his Air Force career, he always enjoyed helping family, friends, and other airmen with their financial planning. Upon retirement in 2021, Mike launched Next Mission. He helps military, veteran, and military retiree clients build the life they want by balancing living today with building wealth for the future.

Mike holds degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology, the Naval Postgraduate School, Air Force Institute of Technology, and the Air War College.
