Elise Passy

Elise Passy is an accomplished professional with skills in educational programming, outreach, marketing, management, strategic planning, and capital development, with a proven track record in developing partnerships with individuals and organizations, and over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector related to a variety of community-centered organizations.


She is the Alzheimer’s Association Health Systems Director for Texas and the national Veterans Health Administration lead. As the Health System Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Elise supports health systems, physicians, clinics, and payors throughout the state, improving early detection and quality care and support for those with dementia. She works with each organization to drive risk reduction and early diagnosis, collaborates on ways to maximize quality care, and supports research.

 

Her work includes assessing health systems' readiness, capacity, needs, and interests and providing services to support the desired result. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. A contributing member of the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Projects at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and the University of Texas at El Paso, where she is working with health systems to improve dementia care through the adoption of Age-Friendly Health Systems and Dementia Care Navigation.

 

Married to her husband for almost 30 years, they are parents of five children, three by birth and two by marriage.
