Mia Damuth

Majoring in Early Childhood Education

“I knew from a very young age that working with kids was my passion, what I was meant to be doing. I truly feel kids deserve all of the love, patience, and attention in the world but especially when it comes to shaping their education and their educational experiences! Thanks to your gracious donation I am one step closer to making that happen. Thank you so much for supporting me on my journey, and I can't wait to see where the next couple of years are going to take me.”

Adam Noel

Penn State Harrisburg, class of 2027

Majoring in Mechanical Engineering

“I would like to thank you for the generous donation to help fund my college career here at Penn State Harrisburg. I am studying to be a mechanical engineer. I have always had a fascination with tearing things apart to see how they work and putting them back together. I started with Lego sets and have moved to computers, robots and just about anything I can get my hands on. It was this curiosity that led me to wanting to be a mechanical engineer.”

“I am going to dedicate myself to working towards my goals no matter how hard, and this award will take some of the burden off my parents and myself. Simultaneously it will also allow me to focus more on my education and succeeding in my goals without the pressure of money. Once more I can’t express my gratitude enough to all of those who helped make this possible and are helping make my future a little easier.”

I would like to thank the generous donors that have made it possible for me to receive this amazing award. After graduating I hope to continue working for small businesses and use my degree to better my community. I am the 2024 Massachusetts Military Youth of the Year through Boys and Girls Clubs of America. I created a global program for teens to talk openly about their mental health. I hope to continue working with BGCA to help all teens.
